Although the concept and story remained as originally intended, the game changed over development as characters and models were refined from their early 'thrown-together' versions. The entire game was completed a chapter at a time in a year and a half by a small but dedicated group of indie developers. theMeatly and Mike Mood decided to drop all other projects to work on Bendy and tell a most unique ink story. Much to their surprise, it struck a chord with global indie gamers almost overnight.

After turning the idea into a horror game, Chapter One of the game was created in a little under a week with programmer/friend Mike Mood and released on February 10th in 2017. Then he fell again." Bendy and the Ink Machine" began when the developer/cartoonist known as theMeatly experimented with bringing a sketched 2D style into a 3D world. He finds a illuminati place, when he gets Closed, he starts seeing halliculations. He finds the Exit, but sadly he fell.he wakes up. Everything was covered bu the ink and starts getting broken, so Henry ran away. Henry gets Closed to the planks, Bendy appears. He flows the ink and turns on the Machine. He founded the Ink Machine! Henry knew that he should fix the Machine because it wasn't working. After Henry explores a little bit, he finds out something different. When Joey finds out that, Joey just wanted to show something inside the "Joey Drew Studios HQ" to Henry. But after the company gets Closed, Henry moves into a different City. A artist called "Henry Stein" was making the animations. Story(CHAPTER 1 ONLY) : Back to 30's, there was a company called "Joey Drew Studios". There are betteouhorror games better than this such as outlast, alien isolation and especially RE7. Other than the environment, It is an overrated game that has been overhyped due to its antagonist "Bendy". Overall the voice acting from the tapes are top notch and some of them are worth listening to as it is a hit or a miss with how interesting they are and the purpose it serves. Towards chapter 3 I felt like the whole Cohen's masterpiece part from bioshock was simply cut and pasted in this game but with no originality, we're given some weird task from some psychotic person. I can't help but to laugh at the main protagonists voice acting as he says all of his lines so monotoned throughout the game. Chapter 1 starts off at a great start but the game itself starts to go downhill towards the end of chapter 2.

It's truly some eye candy but throughout the game and it's story, I couldn't help but to feel like I was playing an off-brand bioshock wanna-be. When I first started playing bendy & the ink machine, I couldn't help but to love the environment the game creator drops the player in.
